evening/night session

Last Wednesday to Thursday we had a fotoshooting with the Laax-riders on the Crap Sogn Gion.
It was planed to shoot some rails and kickers during the sunset. It was a very nice sunset and the mountains around Laax were purple. So the pictures are really colourful.
After the sunset we took some shots from a up box and a kicker.
We were riding until 11pm in the dark and frozen snow.
After a long fotoshooting we were happy to be allowed to sleep on the mountain.
At Thursday morning it was planed to do some shots in the pipe at 7am. It was way to early for snowboarding for me, but at 7am the sun rises. The pipe was not that good shaped so we had to cancel the shooting. BUMMER!
But we could go back to the hotel and enjoyed breakfast!

Warmtobel Jam

Last week I was with the guys and girls from the Burton office from Switzerland at the Warmtobel Jam at Wildhus. The weather wasn't that perfect but we were motivated and looked forward to have a nice snowboarding day. After a nice run at the special natural park we were stoked to be there and rocked the park. There were a lots of little kickers, corners and other jibb things to shred. It was not a easy park, it was a long park and not easy to ride and find the landings. After a couple runs we were tired and felt our legs and backs.

It was a funny day at Wildhus with the girls and guys and I am looking forward to the next Warmtobel Jam.

Powder riding in Laax

After more than five weeks traveling around the world, I'm back in Flims for three weeks. I was so happy to see my family and friends again. Also I looked forward to go shredding at my home mountain.

It snowed a lot before I arrived in Switzerland, we still have a lot of snow here. The first sunny day I met Marco Widmer and the photographer Philipp Ruggli and we went up to do some sick freeride runs. The day was perfect, sunny weather the powder was great and we were stoked and motivated.

After a couple cliff jumps and powder turns, Philipp had taken some nice shots from Marco and me. In the evening our legs were soured, we were tired but we looked back to a nice sunny and funny day.

Last week here in Frisco

Hello everyone
I'm back again!

We don't have many changes here. I'm still in Frisco.
The last week we had the Grand Prix at Copper Mountain. The weather wasn't that good but therefor the pipe was absolutely great. In the end Kelly Clark was the golden girl and she won the comp with a clean, stylish and high flying run! Congratulation!

As maybe everyone knows, it's not just snowing in Europe we also have much snow here in Colorado. Yesterday we woke up and directely went  to Vail. There we had a perfect day in the powder. "WOW what a nice day" and powder riding is so good for your soul! :)

Yesterday we went to Keystone and tried the kicker. They are funny but it was way to cold for shreding the hole day long. So it was just a short session but a funny one!

Next we have the mountain dew tour in Breckenridge. It is going to start tomorrow. I'm pritty excided and really looking forward to the next couple days!

I will let you know some news in the end of this week
see you...

SeAsOn StArT

Hi all snow fans!

It's snowing every where on this planet. What a nice winter start!!
I'm really looking forward for the nice powpow season.

After a couple day of pow riding with my friends in Laax I'm now here in Frisco (Colorado, USA) a little village next to Breckenridge.
I'm here with the swiss team. We travelled from Europe to America to train our pipe and slopestyle skills, but here is so much pow around that we prefer to ride in the backcountry.

Lets go back into the powpow
...next blog is coming in a few days
